Black History Month -Recognizing Dr Maya Angelou

 

 

Black History Month, is an annual celebration of achievements by African Americans, and a time for recognizing their central role in U.S. history.
Since 1976, America has officially designated the month of February as Black History Month.

 

This year, we want to recognize Dr. Maya Angelou

Dr. Maya Angelou was a poet and award-winning author known for her acclaimed memoir “I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings” and her numerous poetry and essay collections.
